Canyon Springs Library Our library at Canyon Springs is fortunate to have over 13,000 books of all levels and interests. Most of them are AR (Accelerated Reader), and are identified by a color-coded sticker containing the book level and the point level. Some of our favorites are the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne, poetry, mission or country books, Junie B. Jones, and of course, any books on pets. All grades have weekly scheduled times to get new books. Grades K through 3 have a story read to them by our librarian, Mrs. Beth Goldes. Volunteers are always welcome at our library, and donations of new or gently used children's books are gratefully appreciated. The library runs a Scholastic Book Fair annually in conjunction with spring parent conferences, as well as the Six Flags Read to Succeed program. |
