Mitchell Monday Morning Minute for week of: May 14, 2012

Good morning Mitchell families, this is Principal Farrell-Smith with your Monday Morning Minute.
I was impressed with the amount of effort and care our students took last week during the 1st 3 days of State testing. This week students will continue testing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure your student gets a good nights sleep and a healthy breakfast. Wednesday is Student Council planned and coordinated Under the Sea day. Students will take part in unique recess activities and competitions for this event. Wednesday evening, in our MPR, we will be celebrating this year's Young Authors from Mitchell School and from Fair Oaks Ranch School. If your child is a Young Author this year, you would have already received an invitation to the event. This Friday is a restored learning day for students. Students, teachers and staff are expected to be at school this Friday. Thank you for listening and have a wonderful weekend.
