Mitchell Monday Morning Minute for week of: February 6, 2012

Good morning Mitchell families. This is Principal Farrell-Smith with your Monday Morning Minute. This week we celebrate the second published book of our young author of the week: Daniel Kinney. His book will be on display all week in our library. Valentine Grams are on sale this week. You child brought home instructions on how to send Valentine Grams to friends and teachers in their Friday Folders last week. Sending and receiving Valentine Grams is always exciting for our students. The e-script program, you as parents support, has bought some new P.E. equipment for our students. Thanks to the parents who support this program. This Wednesday at 3:15 is a PTA Association meeting in room 508. We hope many of you will attend. Also on Wednesday, Mitchell School is hosting the Board of Trustee Meeting in our MPR at 7:30. One teacher and two other staff members, along with the SSDTA writing contest winners will be honored that evening. Also at the meeting there will be a presentation highlighting the wonderful things on campus, from the student perspective. We hope many of you will attend this meetings as well.
