Ms. Viktoria Aschacher
My name is Viktoria Aschacher, and I am excited to be a part of the Mitchell community! I feel it is important that you parents and guardians have a little insight as to who I am. I am from Simi Valley, despite both of my parents coming here from Austria. I grew up speaking German, then learned a bit of French, and I was very involved with competing in Judo for 16 years. I attended California State University Channel Islands for four years, receiving my bachelors’ degree in History in 2016. I have a passion for the history surrounding World I & II. I was accepted by California Lutheran University’s credential and master’s program, which I completed in December 2018. Since then, I have worked in Moorpark Unified School District with 3 long term positions, and most recently Ventura Unified School District as an intervention teacher. Now I am settling into being the 6th grade Language Arts teacher at Mitchell! My students have learned quickly that I love talking about my pets (1 cat & 2 dogs) as well as always enjoying music! In my free time I enjoy being at the gym and going for hikes. I especially like summer because I enjoy the hot weather and seeing all friends and families hangout together at BBQ’s and the beach!
