Hello, 

I'm Marina Scavone and I have been teaching at Mitchell for 20 years.  Go Eagles!  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.  I love to teach and try to make learning interesting and fun while maintaining rigor.  I have an amazing son, who is a Mitchell graduate and now a Navy flight officer.  I have a wonderful daughter-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren.  I also have two crazy chocolate labs, named Bruin and Biscotti.  When I am not at school, I enjoy cooking, baking, camping at the beach, and spending time with my family.
