Good evening, Sulphur Springs Families and staff, this is Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi, your Superintendent with a Friday update, September 12, 2025.

Dear Families,

We invite you to attend your child’s upcoming Goal Setting Conference the week of September 22nd. The Goal Setting Conference is an opportunity to partner with teachers in supporting your child’s academic growth and overall success.

During the conference, you will:

✅ Review your child’s current progress
✅ Set personalized goals for the year
✅ Discuss ways to support learning at home and school
✅ Strengthen the home-school connection

Your involvement makes a meaningful difference. When families and educators work together, students thrive—both academically and socially.

Student Schedule for the week of September 22nd week:

September 22nd: Regular Schedule

September 23rd: Minimum Day

September 24th: Minimum Day

September 25th: Minimum Day

September 26th: No school for students 

I am excited to announce that I will be hosting Coffee with the Superintendent meetings at all nine schools throughout September and October.

✅ All meetings will be held in English and Spanish.
✅ I will be sharing updates about our District and the supports in place to help your child thrive — both academically and social-emotionally.
