Glows and Grows Form (Teacher Student Feedback for Writing using Microsoft Word)

Dear Families,

We invite you to attend your child’s upcoming Goal Setting Conference the week of September 22nd. The Goal Setting Conference is an opportunity to partner with teachers in supporting your child’s academic growth and overall success.

During the conference, you will:

✅ Review your child’s current progress
✅ Set personalized goals for the year

✅ Discuss ways to support learning at home and school
✅ Strengthen the home-school connection

In addition, you will receive the following assessment information:

  • i-Ready Reports (Grades 1–6): These reports provide insights into your child’s academic progress in reading and math.
  • Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Students: Teachers will share updates on your child’s development in foundational skills.
  • English Learners (Grades 1–6): If your child took the ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessments for California) Summative Assessment in the spring, you will receive their results.
  • English Learners in Kindergarten: You will receive your child’s Initial ELPAC results.

Please note: English Learner students begin ELPAC testing in Kindergarten not in Transitional Kindergarten.

This information will help you and your child’s teacher celebrate their strengths and identify areas for growth this school year.

Your involvement makes a meaningful difference. When families and educators work together, students thrive—both academically and socially.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference and working together to help your child reach their full potential.
