Good evening, Sulphur Springs Families and staff, this is Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi, your Superintendent with a Friday update, September 26, 2025.

Dear Families,

Thank you so much for attending the Goal Setting Conferences this past week. We truly appreciated the opportunity to connect with you, and discuss how we can work together to ensure your child receives an excellent education in our schools.

It was valuable to share the strengths we see in your child, as well as areas where we can partner to support their continued growth. We are committed to making this a fantastic school year for your child, and appreciate your collaboration in that effort.

Please remember, if you ever have questions about your child’s educational program, do not hesitate to reach out to their teacher. We are always happy to work together in support of your child’s success.

I am excited to announce that I will be hosting Coffee with the Superintendent meetings at all nine schools throughout September and October.

✅ I will be sharing updates about our District and the supports in place to help your child thrive — both academically and social-emotionally.
