Reminder: No School, Tuesday, November 11th

As Veterans Day approaches, we take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to all who have served, and continue to serve, in the Armed Forces of the United States. Your courage, dedication, and selfless commitment to preserving our nation’s freedoms are deeply appreciated.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the veterans within our school community—both past and present—for their service and sacrifice. We also recognize the families who have supported their loved ones in uniform; your strength and unwavering support embody the very spirit of this day.

In observance of Veterans Day, the District Office and all schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th. 

Family Fun in November

November offers many wonderful opportunities to spend quality time together as a family. We encourage you to take some time this month to enjoy the outdoors, and create lasting memories with your children.

Fresh Food for Families

We understand that times can be challenging, and we want to ensure that every family in our community has access to the support they need. Several local food pantries and community organizations are available to assist anyone in need of groceries or meals.

The Church of Hope Food Pantry

   • Every Sunday at 11:30 AM- Fresh food distribution.

In addition, our District also has a Family Resource Center that is ready to support families in need as well. 

Family Resource Center

Located at Canyon Springs Community School

The District’s Family Resource Center is dedicated to supporting our community by providing basic food supplies, clothing, toiletries, and school supplies to families in need.  

The goal of the Family Resource Center is to ensure that every family has access to food and supplies, as well as, assist in removing any barriers that may be interfering with students attending and thriving in school. If your family needs access to this Center, please call the Center directly. Please see the hours of operation and phone numbers below.
