Wright Elementary School District - Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (LCAP)

Shaping Our Students' Future Together

LCAP Mid-Year Update

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is our District’s three-year roadmap. It is built on our mission and goals for all students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade, guiding everything from our classroom programs to how we run our daily operations.

We believe that the best plans are made together. Every year, we ask for your input to help us stay on track. We review student data and listen to feedback from families, students, and staff to ensure we are meeting our goals.

Your feedback directly influences:

  • The programs and services we provide for students.
  • How we spend our budget to support those services.

We invite all parents and guardians to join us for an upcoming feedback session. These meetings are a chance for you to hear about our progress and share your ideas for the future.

  • Location: Online via Zoom

Supporting Students who are English Learners

DELAC (District English Learner Advisory Committee)

We would like to invite you to an important DELAC (District English Learner Advisory Committee) Meeting. This is a special opportunity for you to help shape the future of our schools and ensure our students who are learning English have the support they need to thrive.

Every year, our District creates a Plan called the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

We are currently at the Mid-Year Update, and we need your feedback. We want to hear from you:

  • How are our current programs working for your children?
  • What additional support do our English Learner students need to reach their full potential?
  • How can we better partner with you to support your student’s growth?

Families of English Learner students provide a unique and essential perspective. You know your children best, and your input helps us ensure our plan is not just a document, but a real support system that addresses the language, academic, and social needs of every student.

Meeting Details

  • When: Thursday, February 26th
  • Time: 9:00 AM
  • Where: Zoom Link
  • Translation: Spanish translation will be provided.

Your partnership is the key to our students' success. We look forward to seeing you online and hearing your thoughts!
