Dear Valley View Vikings,
Welcome to the new school year! I would like to take this opportunity to say I am humbled and honored to be the principal of Valley View Community School.
Together I know we will build a positive and safe school environment. Together I know we will promote the diverse and unique needs, talents and gifts of each of our students. At Valley View, we will be about the business of "Student Learning". We will challenge our Vikings to soar academically and to reach their highest potential!
One of the reasons for Valley View's past success is the support of our wonderful parents. Parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s education. There are many ways, in which parents can be involved such as classroom volunteers, join the Valley View PTA, become members of our School Site Council (SSC), become members of our English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC), provide donations, or help at one time events. Research shows that parent involvement increases student academic achievement!
Valley View also has a staff who is dedicated professionals working tirelessly to provide our students with a positive educational experience. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated group of Educators working with our students, and with your help, we can continue to achieve academic excellence.
I look forward to working with each and every one of you this year and I look forward to a productive and successful school year!
