A goal setting conference is an opportunity for parents and teachers to meet early in the school year to discuss students’ strengths and areas to grow. Students may be included in this conference as well.
During the first month of school, each student takes Beginning of the Year assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and math. These assessments provide teachers and parents with information about each student’s strengths and areas to grow.
Parents are strongly encouraged to share what they see as their child’s strengths and areas to grow. Parents are also encouraged to ask questions. Research states that when schools and parents work together, students achieve!
Goal Setting Conferences for the 2024-2025 School year will be the week of September 23rd - September 27th.
